First Person Shooter Example - Alternativa3D, Away3D, Papervision3D, Sandy3D

A year ago I was involved in developing Flash 3D MMORPG "WAR.RU", which powered by Alternativa3D. In one weekend I took some of our game art and made a simple shooter Ratburner3D just for fun. Now I found time to port it on other flash 3d engines:

I isolated the code of the shooter from the engines, with a single interface:

As level editor I used Tiled with TMX file format, it's more suitable for 2D games, but can be used for 2.5/3D with some limitations. Tiled

A truly ultimate post. I'm loving the comparisons of the different engines and the fact that the souce is available!!!

I just wish the rats were less scary. I'm gonna replace the images with fairies and recompile...
